Dorset Marine Network MarineEx Organisers: The local marine network offering marine and marine related businesses a great platform to meet others, work together on joint projects, raise and action local marine issues all within a good social gathering. Dorset Marine Police: The Dorset Police Marine Section has a responsibility for policing the force's 89 miles of coastline out to the territorial limit of 12 miles. There are currently 7 dedicated officers working out of bases at Poole and Portland. Their role includes dealing with marine crime, offering safety & crime prevention advice, recovering bodies, and working in conjunction with partner agencies on planned operations. The Olympic planning team will be on the stand along with their R.I.B . From the Ferry steps: Take a Sea Cruise to Portland Harbour, or use the Ferry to cross Weymouth Harbour.
